Export 3D geometry

With FEST3D, the user can export the final design to a standard CAD format. In particular, FEST3D can export to STEP and IGES formats.

Up to now, FEST3D is able to export circuits composed by rectangular, circular and arbitrary-shaped waveguides. This includes coaxial, slotted, waffle and ridge waveguides among others. Also circuits with posts (comb-line) or with Cubic junctions (T-junctions, magit tees,...) can be also exported. This represents many of the most common elements used to build up a whole component.
